We are thrilled to reveal our 2024 summerworkshop production is finding nemo jr

Bookings open ...

Disney’s Finding Nemo JR. is a musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 Pixar movie Finding Nemo, with new music by award-winning songwriting team Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez (the songwriters of Frozen, Book of Mormon and Avenue Q).

Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves.

Featuring memorable songs such as “Just Keep Swimming,” “Fish Are Friends Not Food,” and “Go With the Flow,” Finding Nemo JR. brings a vibrant underwater world to life on stage in a story full of family, friendship, and adventure.

This workshop is recommended for children ages 9 - 18.

Our summer workshops are open to both wigle members and non-members. Children do not require previous dancing, singing or acting training. No auditions are required – just a willingness to give it a go!

What is the workshop cost?

Our workshops are priced to be as affordable as possible - working out at less than £4 an hour!

This price includes 10 days tuition (8 hours per day) with our talented staff team (all of whom are first aid trained and hold complete DBS checks), scripts, costumes... plus the fabulous time spent at Theatre Severn.

The total workshop cost is:

£220.00 for Get Your Wigle On members

£260.00 for non Get Your Wigle On members

How to book

A deposit is required to book a place on the workshop.

To sign up, simply book your place by paying a £50.00 deposit or the full workshop balance below.

The remaining balance is due 2 weeks before the workshop.

All fees are non refundable unless spaces are re-advertised and filled.

This workshop will run from one or both of our Wigle Studios (located in Shrewsbury’s town centre). Check back on this page for more info nearer the time.

What does my child need to bring

Children are asked to bring a packed lunch and water bottle, which can be filled up throughout the day. If you are happy for your child to go into town during their lunch break - please let us know and this can be arranged. We also have a tuck shop at our studio - your child is welcome to bring some change if they fancy a treat!

What to wear

We recommend children wear comfortable clothing suitable for dance and drama activities. Students are welcome to wear wigle uniform. A special edition 'show tee' will also be available to purchase in our shop section.

On days one and two we will complete our casting of the show. The ethos behind our company is that all of those involved are heavily involved in the show and so all children will be involved in the whole production. We do know there are a lot of keen children who are looking to secure some of the roles - but roles will be cast on audition solely.
